We’re a fan of small-scale interventions that have larger impacts. Edicola 518, a small retrofitted kiosk in Perguia, Italy, is a great example of creative thinking for existing infrastructure. What was once a former, locally-loved newsstand, is now a microhub for rest, reading, and informal gathering. And best of all, it’s free.

It’s official, Praxis Placemaking Studio is officially a year old. Launched at the end of May of last year, Praxis was created as a way to combine a deep passion of placemaking and branding with years of working in architecture and design, but more importantly, our goal was to create a multi-disciplinary studio that provides full service design work both in the private and public sectors.
